What To Expect

Day 1 Arrival.

Today is you first day to start your program, on arrival at the Airport you will find our representative with a sign board written your name on it at the Airport’s Arrival exit, meet and greet then you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, after reaching the hotel you will be briefed on your program.

Day 2: Central Serengeti

We leave the Lodge at 6:00am driving to central Serengeti seronera area, Seronera is one of many world-famous attractions in the Central Serengeti covered Area 1800 square Miles with Long Grass Plains, Savannah, Riverine Areas, Lakes, Granite Kopjes topography. Despite of Offering good viewing Game Drive all over the Year but also Seronera Valley supports a much greater diversity of resident wildlife than anywhere else in the Serengeti including elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, topi, reedbuck, buffalo, and baboon. This resident prey in turn attracts the highest concentrations of large predators & Big Cat in Africa such as lion, leopard and cheetah & population of Hyenas and a multitude of smaller predators (mongoose, jackal, serval, and bat-eared fox.

Day 3: Full day Northern Serengeti(Migration Area)

There is tremendous wildlife viewing opportunities exist at the Northern Serengeti part, enjoy your full day game drive witnessing the wildebeest crossing the Mighty Mara River heading to Masai Mara in Kenya.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation area

Today we leave the Serengeti National Park and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area passing some very scenic landscapes. En route to the Ngorongoro, along you will be stopping to some attractions and game areas so your day will be well spent although it’s En route safari day.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Today after breakfast and enjoying a nice view of the Crater from your Hotel located at the Crater rim, leave your hotel and descend to the Crater floor. You will enjoy a full day of game viewing at the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Called the eighth wonder of the world, the crater won’t fail to take your breath away as you stand on the rim looking down a 10-mile-wide crater floor with abundant wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world covering approximately 260 sq. km’s with walls rising 600 meters from the crater floor. Before the Ngorongoro Volcano exploded and collapsed 2 million years ago the area was home of some of the tallest mountain it is home to more than 30,000 large mammals – mainly gazelle, buffalo, eland, hartebeest, and warthog – and has the highest

predator density in the world. Ascend the Crater at noon and drive to Arusha for overnight.

Day 6: Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA)

Today you will have your breakfast/brunch at the Hotel then your driver guide will pick you up at 12:00 sharp and drive you to Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight home.

Luggage: If flying into the Serengeti, pack light as luggage is limited to 15-20 kg on small flights.

  • You have two options: Drive-in Safari: Travel by 4x4 safari vehicle from Arusha to Serengeti, stopping at other parks on the way. Fly-in Safari: Fly from Arusha Airport (or Zanzibar/Dar es Salaam) to an airstrip in the Serengeti, saving time and allowing for more time on game drives.

  • A typical 6-day migration safari includes key areas of the Serengeti where the migration is most active. The itinerary may also include visits to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and the Ngorongoro Crater depending on your preferences.

  • The Great Migration is a natural wildlife spectacle where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles move in search of greener pastures. The best time to witness the migration depends on where it is in the Serengeti: January - March: Calving season in the Ndutu Plains (Southern Serengeti) April - June: Herds move toward Central and Western Serengeti July - October: River crossings at the Grumeti and Mara Rivers (Northern Serengeti) November - December: Herds move back to the Southern Serengeti
